Lawns and Landscape
Care Guides

The lawns, gardens, parks, and other landscapes that you interact with on a daily basis – around our homes, business, roadways, and schools – have tremendous potential to help our communities and their ecosystems thrive, support climate mitigation, and enhance resilience. They can help regulate temperatures, manage stormwater, sequester carbon, support biodiversity, improve air quality, and enhance overall well-being.

The guides on this page come from the Lawns and Landscapes Task Group of the Nashua River Communities Resilient Lands Project, which met between the Fall of 2022 and Summer of 2023. Members shared different perspectives, observations, and knowledge, resulting in recommendations that are relevant to a number of different experiences, align with community values, and support regenerative and resilient lawn and landscape care.
